Pluto

Pluto has been excluded from our astrological calculations.

Pluto has been excluded from our astrological calculations. This is due to two main facts:

  1. First, Pluto was only discovered in 1930, providing only 70 years in which its influence on the human condition could be observed. Taking into account that this time is less than one third of a Pluto year (242 Earth years), we consider there is insufficient data to establish a robust correlation between Pluto and the human condition.

  2. Secondly, astronomers are still debating if Pluto is actually a planet. It is smaller than at least 6 of the known moons in the Solar system and has a very elongated orbit which is at a significant angle to the plane on which the other planets exist, giving it the behavioural pattern of a very large comet. The discovery of a slightly smaller planet/comet 'Quaoar' in June 2002 have increased the pressure for Pluto and Quaoar to be referred to as Kuiper-belt objects.
